Bob provides comprehensive, multi-generational wealth management solutions to individuals, families, business owners and professional business practices. He also provides fiduciary support for trustees of company 401(k) and cash balance plans.
Bob began his career with the Investment Division of BBVA Compass Bank as a bond specialist. He then worked for UBS Financial Services for 16 years before affiliating with Well Fargo Advisors in 2007 where he remained for 12 years until his recent resignation and affiliation with RFG Advisory.
As a financial advisor at both UBS and Wells Fargo Advisors, Bob was one of a select group of advisors eligible to act as a discretionary portfolio manager. He is experienced assessing clients' needs and building portfolios based on risk profile, short and long-term goals and cash flow requirements.
A native of Alabama, bob is a graduate of Auburn University where he studied Economics. He continued his education after college by earning the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in conjunction with the Investments & Wealth Institute. He also holds the Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist (CRPS) designation. Bob has attained the following FINRA registrations: Series 7, 63, 66, and 24.
Bob is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham which supports numerous charitable and educational programs both locally and internationally. He loves to travel with his wife, Margaret, family members and friends. Some of his favorite places to visit are France, Italy, the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and the Florida Gulf Coast.
